The Election Commission will arrange for web-streaming of polling to the public aiming to ensure greater transparency,
About 60,817 polling stations will function in the State for the Lok Sabha elections and the Alandur Assembly by-election. And, 17,684 will be covered with web-streaming on polling day (April 24). To ensure continuous participation of people in the elections, the live streaming in these stations will also be made available for public viewing.
A website (public.gelsws.in) has been created, and it can be accessed by the public to view the live video-streaming of the polling stations across 39 constituencies in the State. It will be available for access from 7 a.m.
