‘Elections 2014 - Know Your Candidate’ Mobile App – Rakes up Information on Poll Candidates
Now it is the right time for the people to alert themselves in deciding the right for their constituency, since Election Day is nearer.
A new mobile app termed ‘Elections 2014 - Know Your Candidate’, created
by an engineering student-staff team which furnish more data’s on contesting
candidates, reputing in a specific
constituency in TamilNadu.
This has been a conjoint product of Gokulvasan, a second year engineering
student from Hindustan University, and J Thangakumar, Assistant Professor in
the computer science department and launched on Tuesday.
It can be easily downloaded from the Google Playstore on any Smartphone
and it furnishes both good and bad hints on the candidates of all the six major
faction for 39 electorates in the state.
It is a lightweight application with only 750kb capacity. This app will render
a directory of the candidates in the electoral of selection of the mobile phone
abuser. Assisting with the internet, it will provide more records on each contestant
by providing relative online links.
This app is the result of the one month hard work of the team. The main objective of this app initially was to bring the youth in pluseful, added Thangakumar.
