Aavin’s Order to Amass Contact Numbers of all its Customers – Action to Stop the Abuse Sale of the Milk Packets

Aavin Company put an order for its staff members to amass the mobile contact numbers of their customers. Moreover, it has been made compulsory that the customers need to enter their mobile numbers on back of the monthly card. These actions have been proposed by the organization, so as to stop the abuse sale of the Aavin milk.

Aavin, which is the TamilNadu government’s company supplies milk at a lower rates for the Chennai and surrounding suburban customers who avails Aavin monthly card.

 Nearly 7 Lakhs litre of milk will have been getting supplied to the Chennai city customers through the mode of 16 zonal Aavin offices. And because of this about 5 lakhs people are getting benefited in the city. Including the milk supply to the small retail shops, Chennai city alone accounts for the sale of 11.5 lakhs litre of milk.

Monthly card owner will be getting the milk at the lower rate when compared to the milk supplied at the retail shops.

In this stance, customers who are updating their monthly cards or who gets the new monthly card, are requested to give their contact numbers in their respective Aavin booths.

With the customer’s mobile numbers, we can contact the customer’s in person to know about the proper supply of milk and to hear their grievance, stated the senior official of the Aavin organization.
