Diesel Price to continue in the new government?

Posted on: 30/May/2014 2:27:46 PM
It is expected that the current practice of raising the diesel prices by 50 Paise per litre every month will be continued by the new government.

As the new government is seriously intent on reducing the government’s burden of bearing the additional costs & concession for the benefit of the public, this monthly price rise system is likely to continue.

This monthly price rise will continue till the oil companies overcome threir losses by diesel sales. When the value of Indian Rupee touches Rs. 56/- per US $, the losses on the diesel sales front will b e gone. Once the losses stop getting incurred by the oil companies, the practice of monthly price rise in diesel also will be stopped.

The system of the monthly price ris of 50 paise per litre for the diesel has been in vogue since last January.
