Life Insurance Corporation has announced that those who take up Life Insurance policy should have their bank account details in hand and this rule will come into practice from 1 April.
This rule has come up to its practice recently. Accordingly, people who join the new Life Insurance policy plan have to give the details of their bank account.
Thereby, once the policy matures, the process of transferring the amount to the applicant’s bank account will be ease for the officials.
People who have already taken up the Life Insurance policy are forced to give their bank account details to the LIC officials, within the August month.
People who are in the village might not be aware of having bank accounts and thus involving those people to take up the LIC policy will be tougher task then. Hence LIC agents who involved in adding people to the LIC policy has requested for the loosening up this new practice.
