The government has released the new order for the new weightage system for teachers’ selection.
The High Court rejected the existing weightage system for teachers’ selection.
The High Court ordered that a uniform weightage system giving consideration for the marks obtained in the school, college, and the teachers’ training course.
The state government followed this recommendation and devised a new weightage system and this has been released as a government order.
As per the new weightage system, a maximum of 60% will be allotted for the performance in the the teachers’ selection exam.
15% will be allotted for the marks obtained in the school (+2 or 12th Standard).
A maximum of 25% will be given for the performance in D.T.Ed/D.E.Ed.
