The directorate of medical education mentioned that the MBBS rank list which was to be published on Friday has been delayed by two days and was released on Sunday. This is to take into consideration the scores of Class 12 students who have applied for revaluation and re-totalling.
"The directorate of government exams has not yet given us the re-totalled mark list, so we were unable to publish the medical rank list. We are expecting the marks on Friday and we will positively publish the rank list in two days," said a senior official. The first phase of medical counselling begins on June 18. Special quota counselling for disabled and ex-servicemen categories will be held the previous day.
