A child who was born blue due to pulmonary problem, which was left with his grandmother in a village, was accidently spotted by an educated person.

Papa Gary an Australian Architect got the child connected with Child First International an Australian NGO that funds treatment for the children all over the world. The NGO contacted Frontier Lifeline Hospital, Chennai, headed Dr Cherian. Overcoming the travel problems the child was transported to Chennai accompanied by a cardiologist Yogesh C Sathe . The child has been operated and doing well now.

This is just another testimony to the skills and knowledge level and more importantly the commitment of Chennai Doctors. Chennai is definitely among the best health care destinations in the world. With Governments assistance in right direction Chennai can become the destination for any type of treatment especially for poor rural people. There are so many children with all kinds of problem in our villages who: 1 would not know that there is a problem 2. Would not know who to be contacted 3. Would not afford to move from their place leave alone getting treatment.
