Pensioners or family pensioners drawing pension under the ‘Public Sector Bank scheme’ have been asked to apply for the New Health Insurance Scheme 2014. A release from the administration says that as the new scheme is to be implemented from July 1, 2014, the pensioners or family pensioners should apply for the same before June 30.
They can get the forms from the bank branches concerned or download the same from www.tn.gov.inorwww.tn.gov.in/karuvoolam.
They should give the filled-in forms with photo (preferably joint photo of pensioner and spouse) with agreed proof to the paying bank, either in person or through messenger and get back a copy of the same duly signed by the bank authorities.
