INFECTIOUS DISEASES ON THE RISE IN TAMILNADU

According to the figures through sources indicate that while Malaria and Cholera are coming down due various efforts, the incidences of other infectious diseases such as Diarrhea and other emerging infectious diseases such as dengue, chikungunya or leptospirosis are rising. Government in terms of vaccine preventable diseases such as Diphtheria and polio is performing through child immunization programmes. Besides initial causative affects the important factors that cause spreading of the diseases is the carriers, vulnerable people and the environment. The environment plays major part when it comes to spreading of the disease. What be the factor Government should adequate mechanism and machinery to minimize the control the spreading of the disease from the time it is detected. There should a programmed medical detection cum assistance camp by the Government Hospital doctors in the slum areas and in intensely populated areas, where poor people live, most of them do not have resource to even down to the hospital.
