More than 7000 applications have been purchased on the first day of
opening of counters for the sale of application for admission to Tamilnadu
Engineering colleges. According to Utharia raj 1.8 application will be issued this
year; a 10% increase over last year. About 1.6 lakhs of students are expected
to take counseling route this year. Applications are distributed from 57
centers across the state. Places like

be issued from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on all days, except Sundays. May 29 will
be the last day for the issue of applications.
