Due to line block to facilitate engineering works between Vandalur - Kattangulattur in Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu section, the following changes will be made in suburban train services for 12 days from 23.07.2014 to 05.08.2014 except Sundays.
A. The following trains will be partially cancelled between Tambaram – Chengalpattu.
Train No.40533 Chennai Beach - Chengaplattu EMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 12.30 hrs.
Train No.40535 Chennai Beach - Chengaplattu EMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 13.09 hrs.
Train No.40537 Chennai Beach - Chengaplattu EMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 13.25 hrs.
Train No.40540 Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local scheduled to leave Chengalpattu at 13.50 hrs.
Train No.40542 Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local scheduled to leave Chengalpattu at 14.25 hrs.
Train No.40544 Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local scheduled to leave Chengalpattu at 15.05 hrs.
B. The following trains will be partially cancelled between Tambaram – Tirumalpur.
Train No.66041 Chennai Beach - Tirumalpur MEMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 09.50 hrs.
Train No.66042 Tirumalpur - Chennai Beach MEMU local scheduled to leave Tirumalpur at 13.40 hrs.
II.CARRIAGE AND WAGON WORKS PERAMBUR BAGS
“INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT AWARD”
The 158 years old Carriage & Wagon premier workshop of Indian Railways undertaking periodical overhauling of Rail Coaches and Wagons. This workshop was awarded an “Integrated Management System” Certificate by M/s. Indian Register Quality Systems (IRQS) in a function held in the workshop premises on 14.7.2014.
Shri K. Swaminathan, Advisor, Mechanical Engineering, Railway Board, New Delhi, has received the Certificate and handed over to Shri Shashi Bhusan, Chief Work Shop Manager, Perambur in the presence of Shri R. Kuppan, Chief Mechanical Engineer, Southern Railway.
