Chennaites can expect a pleasant weather in the coming days. Metrological Department says that the temperature might dip in the coming days because of the likelihood of more rain. They said it was cloudy since the afternoon and eventually led to rains in a few parts of the city, including the western and northern suburbs.
The maximum temperature recorded in Nungambakkam was 36.5°C on Sunday. It also recorded 2.5mm of rain at 8.30pm.
An officer of India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the temperature was likely to go down in the next few days. “The rain will continue for the next few days, “he said.
The maximum and minimum temperature in the city on Monday will be 37°C and 29°C, he added.
