Thousands of devotees visit Tirupathi every day to have a Drashan of their special God, Lord Srinivasa. However, they have to stand and wait in queues for very long hours.
In order to prevent this hardship for devotees, TTD planned to introduce a new system.
Rs. 300/- Darshan tickets will now be sold on-line from 7th August.
So, these Rs. 300/- tickets can be booked through internet in all states all over the country. The time of the Darshan of the Lord will be printed on the ticket.
If the devotees present themselves as per this printed time, they can have Darshan within 1 hour. There will be no permission to use this ticket either earlier or later than the printed time on the ticket!
This special ticket is known as Time Start Ticket. It comes into effect from 7th August.
14 counters will be opened in the 1st Queue complex to check 1000 devotees at with this ticket at the same time.
This system is planned to be gradually introduced for other types of Darshans as well Dharma Dharisanam & Divya Darsanam (devotees who come by foot). They would be available on-line.
VIP recommendations will be stopped gradually.
