IMD would soon materialize its mobile app ‘Indian Weather’ in and around the third week of August. This app has been upgraded with more than 310 cities all over the country, said officials from the Numerical Weather Prediction Department.
This SMS-App would be accessible free of cost and the abusers of Windows, Blackberry and Android can download this app. Also, mobile with IOS platform cannot utilize this app. This advanced app would afford information on thunderstorms, current weather and also foresee the weather information for the consequent four days.
Meanwhile, the Agro-Met tune facilitated by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) and Agro Meteorological Field Unit has been flourishing among the public.
