Air fares for USA rise steeply: Students shocked!

It is a routine affair for air fares to go up or down depending on the necessity, demand, and holiday seasons.
However, the air fares to USA have been more than double this season! The students and travellers have been shocked.
There are many reasons cited for this.
The vacation period & start of the academic semester session in USA, the opening ceremony and festival for the largest ‘Swami Narayan’ temple in New Jersey, and some more reasons are given for the steep rise in air fares to USA.
Up to now, the one-way fare was in the order of Rs. 48,000/- with all airlines. Now, this has been raised to Rs. 80000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/-.
This rise in fare will continue from the vacation season after Ramzan festival till September.
Even after the steep rise, the demand has continued to increase!
