A DVD ‘THOUSAND DIGITAL IMAGES ON TAMIL NADU LAUNCHED

To give impetus to promotion of Tourism in Tamilnadu Tourism Minister N.Suresh
Rajan launched DVD on THOUSAND DIGITAL IMAGES ON TAMIL NADU`here recently. It
was made as part of positioning and promoting the State as the cultural capital
of the country.
“The focus is on promoting the lesser known places of the State,” the
Minister said. The DVD contains images of the long coastline, scenic views,
temple architecture, wildlife, heritage sites and art forms intrinsic to Tamil
Nadu.The DVD features a special segment on 33 lesser known places, including
places such as Sirumalai, Pollachi, Hogenakkal and Muthupet. The images are all
in digital format. The release of the DVD comes along with the recent release
of a promotional song for Tamil Nadu tourism.
Tourism Secretary V.Irai Anbu and Tamil Nadu Tourism Development
Corporation Managing Director A.C.Mohandoss were also present.
