Bank account money transfers through SMS – facility to be introduced shortly!

After Mr. Narendra Modi assumed the office of Prime Minister, the mobile companies have started expanding their services & faculties.
Some of the services:
- Money transfers through cell phone sms without using internet
- SMS on account status,
- SMS for balance in account,
- SMS for change of PIN
- SMS for mini statement of accounts,apply through SMS for [passbooks/cheque books.
The mobile service companies have entered into a contract with the National Financial Exchange Board after interaction over the last 2 weeks.
GSM Technology President, Mr. Rajan S. Mathews, informed that Rs.1.50/- will be taken from the cell-phone user as charges for above SMS related messages each time.
The service is expected to be introduced very shortly.
No doubt, this will be extremely useful for the public!
