127 uniformed personnel selected for CM medals

Tamilnadu government said 127 uniformed personnel have been selected for the Tamilnadu Chief Minister`s Medals. The medals are awarded for `Outstanding Devotion to Duty` of the Police, Fire & Rescue Service, Prison Service, Home Guards and Finger Print Science personnel.
It said 127 personnel, including 100 from police department, have been selected for the award, which includes a bronze medal and a lump sum grant according to the ranks.
Chief Minister Jayalalithaa will present the medals in a ceremonial parade in due course.
