Steep fall in flower prices at Koyambedu market

There has been a very great fall in the prices of flower sold in the Koyambedu flower supermarket.
Flowers for the Koyambedu wholesale market are transported from places like Gummidipundi and Periyapalaiyam nearer Chennai and also from Hosur & Vellore areas.
As the rains have stopped, these flowers could be easily transported without any damage. As there are no festivals around this period, the prices of flowers have reduced considerably.
