Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa announces Rs 30 Lakhs to Asiad medallist

Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday announced a reward of Rs 30 lakh to Saurav Ghosal, who won silver medal in the squash men`s singles event at the ongoing 17th Asian Games at Incheon, South Korea. “I wish to convey my heartiest congratulations on behalf of the people of Tamil Nadu on this magnificent achievement,“ the CM said in her message to the champion. This is the fourth medal Ghosal has won at the Asian Games, having previously won a singles bronze medal at the 15th Asian Games and singles and team bronze medals at the 16th Asian Games.
