Microsoft has planned to offer computer training for 10 Lakh women enabling them to get jobs in the field of Information Technology.
The scheme, known by the name ‘WomanInTech’, is set to start today, Thursday, 25th September. Microsoft has set a target for the scheme to be completed within a year.
Girl students in schools & colleges, women entrepreneurs will all be eligible for training.
With this project, it is expected that the number of persons trained in information technology will more than double from the current 10 Lakhs to 20 Lakhs.
