Subsidised bank loans for jobless youth to start business!

On behalf of the state government of Tamil Nadu, banks have been giving loans for jobless youth to start business of their own.

Socially and economically backward educated jobless youth can start their own business or services and trading to get loans of Rs. 5 Lakhs, Rs. 3 Lakhs, and Rs. 2 Lakhs respectively with 15% subsidy as per the plans of the Tamil Nadu State government.

Conditions

·         Minimum age of 18 years

·         General category applicant should be below 35 years of age. Candidates belonging to Adi Drividas, Tribes, women, minority community, scheduled class & tribe, most backward communities should be under 45 years of age.

·         Should have minimum passed 8th Standard. The applicants should have been residents in their given address at least for 3 years. Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 1.5 Lakhs.

Awareness meetings are being conducted on this loan facility for unemployed youth starting self-business.

Awareness meetings & discussions will be held at Kodumudi Village Cooperative Hall at 10.30 AM on 7th October. Again, 

A meeting & discussion session will be conducted at Perunthurai village cooperative Hall at 10.30 AM on 8th October.

Similar programmes are scheduled at 10.30 AM on 9th October at Bhavani Village Cooperative Hall, at 10.30 Am on 10th October at Kodakkurichi Village Cooperative Hall.

Applications for loans for starting self-business will be distributed during these meetings and completed applications will be received. Interviews will be conducted shortly.

·         School/college education proof, copy of family card, or Thasildar’s certificate as proof of residence, caste certificate, residence proof (originals to be shown & duplicates to be attached to the applications) and 2 passport size photographs will all be required.
