Suriya makes headway after disappointing ‘Anjaan’

Next to the distressing failure of Suriya’s ‘Anjaan’, the actor is joining hands with director Venkat Prabhu for his next flick ‘Mass’. This is for the first time the two are set to work together, however Karthi, the young one of Suriya got roped in Venkat Prabhu’s movie in ‘Biryani’ which was a 2013 release.
‘Mass’ will have the hero playing a dual role. Nayanthara and Amy Jackson are roped in to get paired with Suriya. Other main actors of the cast include Jeyaram, Sreeman, Karunas and Premji.
The first schedule began in Chennai recently, and now over 40% of it is done. The team is passing on to begin its next schedule today. They have plans to shoot few song sequences in Bulgaria.
Yuvan wilil score the music and the film is produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Productions.
