Fixing Omni-bus fares for Deepavali

The fares for the Omni-buses to be run for Deepavali festival has been fixed by the omni-bus owners Association.
Mr. Pandian, President of the association, and Mr. Anbazhagan, Secretary, informed:
A bad name has been earned that the omnibuses pick up passengers at Koyambedu charging double the fare.
350 omnibuses operate every day.We have jointly decided to fix the fares for the omnibuses.
Fare for ordinary bus from Chennai to Trichy will be Rs. 580/-. Fare for A/C buses will be Rs. 680/-.
