Chennai schools and colleges declared holiday

The Chennai Collector has declared a holiday for schools and colleges in the city due to heavy rain since Yesterday.
Also Thiruvallur, Thoothukudi & Nellai districts collectors declared a holiday for schools and colleges.
High level depression cycle has formed in a zone near Kerala & Lakshadweep in the Arabian Sea. Because of this, Chennai meteorological centre has informed that there would be heavy rains in some areas in Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry.
