A survey conducted by American Express reveals that there has been a rising trend of consumers expressing their complaints and grievances on the social networking web sites.
The survey was conducted in 10 countries including India & America.
71% of the participants confirmed that they had registered their complaints on the products bought by them and got remedial action.
The survey reports that the corresponding figure of participants who registered their complaints on social networking web sites was only 51% in the year 2012.
The survey also confirmed that even though complaints by consumer s on the social networking web sites had positive responses, most public prefer to directly approach the manufacturers for redress.
