Strict security measures arranged in 3 districts during ‘Devar Guru Poojai’!

Extra Police Security Protection has been arranged during the ‘Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Devar Jayanthi’ celebrations on the coming 30th October.
Extra Police security has been deployed in the districts of Madurai, Sivagangai, and Ramanathapuram to monitor the event.
Act 144 is already enforced in these districts.
More than 30 check-posts have been installed in these 3 districts.
4 ADSPs, 11 DSPs, and 49 Inspectors are actively monitoring the security arrangements.
250 locations have been identified as tension areas in these 3 districts.
More than 300 policemen have been deployed for the occasion of ‘Devar Jayanthi’ celebrations.
Liquor shops will remain closed for 4 days. Hired vehicles will not be permitted.
Rules and regulations will be strictly monitored.
Information has been received that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Mr. O. Panneerselvam and other senior ministers will participate on the occasion of the 107th Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Dever Jayanthi’ celebrations and the Guru Poojai.
