Southern Railway to run Chennai–Tirunelveli special trains
Southern Railway will operate special trains between Chennai and Tirunelveli to clear extra rush of passengers.
No 00672 Tirunelveli - Chennai Egmore premium superfast special train:
· Will leave Tirunelveli at 6.15pm on November 9 and 16 (Sundays) and reach Chennai Egmore at 7.15am the next day.
· The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 14 sleeper class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
· The train will stop at Virudhunagar, Madurai, Tiruchchirappalli, Thanjavur and Villupuram.
Advance reservations for the special train on Nov 9 will commence on November 1. Bookings for the special train onNovember 16 will commence on November 6.
No 06745 Chennai Egmore - Tirunelveli special train
· will leave Chennai Egmore at 10.45pm on November 10 and 17 (Mondays) and reach Tirunelveli at 12.30pm the next day.
· The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 14 sleeper class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
· The train will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tiruppadirippuliyur, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti and Vanchi Maniyachchi.
