Centre mandates Aadhar number for government employees

All government employees are ordered by the Centre to get their Aadhar card number included in their service book. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance sand Pensions issued a memo on November 3 stating about the new rule coming into effect. As per the supplementary rules 199, each and every step carried out in the course of job of a government employee must be fed in the service book which in turn needs to have attestation from the head office. 

The service book comprises of employee details including bio-data, qualifying service, security details, official posting, central government health scheme, house building advance, insurance scheme provided to them, leave details and more.

Amidst these, all the state government employees who got their retirement between 1st June 1988 and 31st December 1995, and employees who quit after 1st January 2006 are all requested to get in touch with their respective departments and send across the pensionary benefit proposals.
