Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Coastal Tamil Nadu. Isolated rainfall occurred over rest Tamil Nadu.
The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres are Ramnad nicra (Ramanathapuram Dist), Pamban (Ramanathapuram Dist) 3 each, Tiruchendur (Toothukudi Dist), Karaikal (Karaikal Dist), Ramanathapuram (Ramanathapuram Dist) 2 each, Rameswaram (Ramanathapuram Dist), Kamudhi (Ramanathapuram Dist), Tiruvarur (Tiruvarur Dist) 1 each.
Light to moderate rain would occur at a few places over Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Theni, Dindigul, Sivaganga and Virudhunagar districts of South Tamil Nadu and isolated light to moderate rain may occur over the remaining districts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition would be partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 32 and 25 degree Celsius respectively.
