Under the influence of upper air cyclonic circulation over equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Bay Of Bengal, a low pressure area has formed over south west Bay of Bengal and adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean.
Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu.The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimeters are: Ramanathapuram 3 and Pamban 2.
Rain or thundershowers would occur at a few places over South Coastal Tamil Nadu.
