Pension certificate

Pensioners should submit life/non-remarriage certificate in the revised proforma to the banks from where they draw the pension.
According to a release, the certificates should be filed every year in November.
The certificates are available free of cost in the pension payee banks and also at the PRO centre of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation. Life certificates can also be downloaded from the EPFO website http://www.epfotamilnadu.tn.nic.in/ or www.epfindia.nic.in
Pensioners who do not submit the life certificate/non-remarriage certificate on time will not receive the pension from January 2015.
