Special camps for Cooking Gas Direct Subsidy Payment Scheme on 14th December!

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is organising a special camp for clearing all doubts of the public and to receive the applications for the direct subsidy payment.
The special camp will be conducted at 3 places – Chennai, Arumbakkam, and Thiruvallur – on Sunday, 14th December from 10.00 AM till 3.00 PM.
Special camp in Chennai will be conducted at the IOC Office complex in Nungambakkam.
The places for Arumbakkam & Thiruvallur special camps will be announced later.
The 17-digit identity number is the vital link between the gas agency and the bank (account).
All customer of IOC will get a 17-digit number starting with ‘3’.
This 17-digit number has already been sent as sms to some consumers.

The scheme has been revised to include customers without Aadhar cards.
Customers with Aadhar cards can fill Form2 & form 1. Form 1 is to be submitted to the bank. Form 2 is to be given to the gas agency.
Customers without Aadhar cards can fill form 3 & form 4. Form 3 should be submitted too the bank. Form 4 should be given to the gas agency.
As per some agencies, it is sufficient to submit form 3 to the bank.
The customers not interested in the subsidy can fill form 5.
Consumers attending special camp scheduled on 14th December should bring the LPG gas book and the 17-digit code.
They can get all their doubts clarified and register their applications and get receipts.
The deadline for joining the LPG Direct subsidy Payment has been extended till 31st March. Hence, there is no urgency about it.
