Mr. K Radhakrishnan, the Head of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization), is in the first position in the list of 10 most eminent scientists of the year.
India has advanced to occupy a premiere position in the field of space research after the successful launching of ‘Mangalyan’.
The popular magazine, ‘Nature’, conducted a survey which placed Mr. Radhakrishnan as the 1st in the list of 10 scientists.
The magazine observed that Mr. Radhakrishnan’s simplicity & honesty are main reasons for his getting the pride of honour.
It is notable that this is the first-ever time that an Indian scientist has occupied the 1st position in a list prepared by one of the best quality science research magazines, ‘Nature’.
The 2nd place is occupied by European Space Agency’s Ms. Andrea Accomazzo..
