Jewellery Traders’ Association predicts fall in gold imports!

Indian jewellery manufacturers’ Association expects a steep fall in gold imports in December.
The association informed that most jewellery traders had imported gold in bulk and stocking it expecting further regulations by the government.
Hence, the association predicts there may be a steep fall in gold imports.
151 tons of gold was imported in November. However, only 22 tons of gold has been imported in December.
