New Ticketing machine with GPRS facility!

A new self-operating ‘analogical’ ticketing machine has been given to the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation bus conductors.
These machines will facilitate the central office to know the details about the bus route, The number of passengers getting in & out, and collection.
Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation includes Chennai City, Suburban areas, Villupuram, Coimbatore, Madurai, Kumbakanam, Thirunelveli, and Salem Express Transport Corporation.
The practice of issuing machine-printed tickets instead of the old printed tickets has been in vogue for the last 5 years.
Originally, the conductor has to complete the task of computing the tickets sold, and the calculation of tickets sold in each category at the end of the trip.
Now, automatic ticket printing machine with GPRS facility has been given to the conductors.
In the 1st Phase, this machine has been distributed to the bus conductors in the Coimbatore Sector.
