The directorate of Primary Education has sent a circular to all headmasters/principals of schools advising that all girl students should be instructed to travel in gangs on the way to school and home for better safety & security.
- It is better for all girl students of all primary schools and middle level schools to form small gangs and move together on their way to school & home. The headmasters should advise the parents accordingly.
- The students must avoid standing on footboards while travelling in buses. Autos should not be overcrowded. The headmasters should advise accordingly.
- The class teachers should advise the students on the steps to be taken to avoid infectious diseases like Dengue, Chickenguniya, etc.
- Electrical appliances and controls should be provided at height non-reachable for the school students. Crossing of electric wires should not be allowed.
- Good discipline and clean habits should be taught to the students.
- Students should be provided with training on Yoga and physical exercise.
- The headmasters to ensure proper monitoring of safety./security of school students on their ways from home to schools and back.
