Healthy Food Recipes - Saboodhana Vada

Ingredients:
  • Sago/Saboodhana/Javvarisi- 200gms
  • Potatoes-4 to 5
  • Bread slices- as required
  • Green Chillies (finely chopped) - as required
  • Coriander leaves - as needed
  • Salt-as needed
  • Oil- for frying

Pre-requisites
  • Soak the saboodhana for about 1-2 hours.Boil the potatoes and smash them. keep them aside.
Steps:
  1. In a vessel, add the saboodhana (remove water), smashed potatoes,finely chopped green chillies , salt and finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix them well.



  2. Take few slices of bread.Soak it in water for few seconds. Mix it with the above ingredients in step 1.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai.Make patty out of the mixed ingredients.
  4. Deep fry in oil till golden brown.



  5. Serve with Sauce/ any spicy chutney.
