Arrangements for 1000 American Expert teacher to teach in IIT Chennai!

US President Mr. Barrack Obama is scheduled to visit India on the occasion of Republic Day on 26th January.
It is understood that an accord will be signed for US academic experts to teach in high-level academic institutions in India.
All IITs, IIMs, and other central universities functioning under the Department of Human Welfare will have arrangement for US academic experts to visit for 15 to 20 days to conduct classes. A maximum remuneration of Rs. 7 Lakhs are to be paid as per the decision of the central government.
1000 US academic experts have been listed for this purpose.
A final decision on this issue will be taken on 25th January during the visit of the US President as per discussions between the US President & the Human Welfare Minister, Ms. Smriti Irani.
