Michelle Obama, wife of Barack Obama, the president of the United States stole the show when she introduced Barack H Obama to the school children assembled at St Xavier’s College Mumbai to ask Barack H obama questions on various topics ranging from American economy to Pakistan status as terrorist ridden country.
Michelle Obama said in her address to the children/youth:
“Keep dreaming big, huge, gigantic dreams, not just for yourself, but for our community and the world. When I was your age, I never dreamt of travelling to countries like this and meeting young people like you. I never dreamt of serving as first lady. Even though my parents could not give us material things, they gave us something much more precious. They gave me and my brother strong values. They taught us to push for excellence in every single thing we did. They taught us that our circumstances did not define us”.
This reminds us of what John F Kennedy said:
“Ask not what the America can do for you. Ask what all of us can together do to Humanity”.
