At a time when the opposition parties are planning to protest the foreign investment in Insurance sector and coal mine allotment, the budget session of parliament will commence from 23rd February. For the first time Modi Government will be tabling the full budget on 28th February. The Railway Budget will be presented on 26th February.
The Budget session, beginning February 23rd will be held in two parts - with the Parliament closing for a recess on 20th of March and re-convening on 20th of April. The session will end on 8th of May.
For the Modi Government, this will be a crucial session as it needs to convert a slew of ordinances into legislations and announce reform policies that will set the pace for Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s `Make in India` initiative.
With the NDA falling short of numbers in the Rajya Sabha the government is faced with a tough task.
