Republic Day celebrations in Chennai

On behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government, the Republic Day celebrations were celebrated in a grand manner near the Gandhi statue in Marina Beach today.
Tamil Nadu celebrated the 66th Republic Day with patriotic fervour Monday with Governor K. Rosaiah unfurling the national flag at the Marina beach here.
Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and his ministers and a large number of people enjoyed the various floats and dances by school students dressed in colourful attire.
