A new facility of receiving complaints from a running train was introduced yesterday (Friday, 30th January) in the Kanyakumari Express.
Railway Police have introduced considering the safety of passengers and their comfort.
How does it function?
Contact Railway Police telephone 99625 00500 or the General Railway contact number ‘1322’. And then explain the nature of the problem or the details of the complaint.
This call received at the control room will then be conveyed to the Protection Police deputed to be in that train. He will then visit the compartment from where the complaint was made.
This will help save time for the passengers in the event of any problem. It will also reduce unnecessary tension. It will be especially useful to the senior citizens passengers.
