Central Railway Minister: No increase in train fares!

The coming budget session of the parliament is scheduled on 23rd February.
General budget will be presented on 28th February.
Earlier, the Minister for Railways, Mr. Suresh Prabhu, will present the Railway Budget.
The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, has planned to introduce lots of features such as new trains, bullet trains, modernisation of Railways, etc. Hence, it was expected that there would be increase in Railway fares in the budget.
However, the Minister of state for Railways, Mr. Manoj Sinha, informed that there are no plans to increase train fares.
