Tuticorin collectors office to function with solar power soon

For the first time in the state, Collector’s office at Tuticorin will function with the use of solar power. Equipments worth Rs 90 lakh are said to be set up for a solar power plant with 100 KV power.
As power generation using coal creates pollution to the environment, renewable energy resources like the solar energy are considered important in the recent days. Solar energy is more importantly considered as one of the major energy sources.
