The state examination board is examining the possibility of banning wearing of shoes and belts for the students writing +2 examinations.

+2 exams are scheduled to start on 5th March and end by 31st March.

Students from Tamil Nadu & Puducherry from 5600 schools are writing  +2 exams. There has been a change in the format of answer sheets this year. The students need not write their names or subject as it is already printed in the answer sheet. The students need only to register their signature in the first page.

The answer sheets will be in different formats according to the subject. The maps/drawings required for answers are already attached in the answer sheets.

The instructions for the candidates are given in the 2nd page of the answer sheets. As per this, the students are not allowed to being cell phones inside the exam hall. The board is also thinking about banning the wearing of shoes and belts.  Last year, the  students were allowed to wear belts & shoes.

However, the students may need to remove their shoes before entering the hall. The students writing for subjects like Science, Commercial maths, accounting, etc use sketch pens & colour pencils for important answers.

This year, these also might be banned. Underlining with sketch pens/colour pencils will not also be permitted.

Another important point is that the students will have to complete writing their answers within the answer book given!
