EPFO should be paid before end of February 2015

Employees’ provident fund organization has ordered all companies to pay their employees’ provident fund by or before the end of this month.
In his issue about this, the commissioner of regional employees’ provident fund organization stated that there are few organizations that fail to pay these provident funds. Targeting such companies, we have fixed February month as the month of provident fund collection. As per this new move, officials are instructed to collect provident from companies that fail to do the same.
As per law, action against companies that fail to pay employees’ provident fund is possible. Freezing the company’s bank account, freezing the bank account of company’s owner, and other movable and immovable wealth of owners, etc are some of the actions taken against them. Hence, the organization has ordered all companies to pay the provident fund within the stipulated time given.
