Marking an end to the era of ATM card withdrawal

Here comes an end to the era of ATM cards and cash withdrawals! Now, get access to card-less cash withdrawal soon. This is a new facility that will be made available in over 1 lakh ATM centers across India.
As per this facility, the account holder will have to send an SMS or request through a smartphone mobile app for withdrawing cash. This will get followed by the receipt of two codes from the bank. The user once feeds this code will be able to withdraw cash without any ATM card.
To be eligible for this service, banks should become a member of IMT system. This doesn’t require much of efforts from the bank. All it needs is to make some unblocking in their software.
Interestingly, this facility will also be functional at all other places including shopping malls, petrol bunks, etc.
