TNPSC Chairman: Group-4 exam results in 45 days!

There are 117 vacancies throughout Tamil Nadu for the post of Child Welfare Plan officers.

The state government has decided to fill these vacancies and has entrusted this task to the TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission).
 
TNPSC released the applications for the post of Child Welfare Plan Officers and received the applications from candidates on-line.
 
4461 candidates applied.

Many applications were rejected as the applicants were ineligible.

4009 candidates qualified to write the examination.

The written examination was conducted at several centres in Chennai yesterday (15th February).
 
The Chief (in-charge) of TNPSC, Mr. C. Balasubramainan visited the examination centre at Saidapet Jayagopal Karodia Girls’ High School and informed the following:
 
The written examination for the post of Child Welfare Plan officer is now completed. Around 80% of the eligible candidates wrote the examination. Only female graduates are eligible to write the examination.
 
The question-answer set for this examination will be released in a week time at the TNPSC website.
 
Successful candidates will be appointed to supervise Anganwadi service. They will also create awareness and explain the government’s welfare schemes for pregnant women.
 
The results for the Group-2 examination which was already conducted will be released before the end of this month.

Group-4 exam was conducted during last December. 10 Lakh candidates wrote the exam. The results will be released in 45 days.
 
TNPSC has already released a detailed time-table for the various exams to be conducted with the date of availability of application forms, dates & venues for the exams, etc by TNPSC .
 
The written examination for Siddha medicine, Ayurveda, and Unani Assistant Medical Officers is scheduled to be conducted on 31st May. Many more such exams are on schedule.
